I've had this Milkman for a couple months now and wanted to report my impressions. I'm now playing it with a JBL K120 mounted in the cabinet, and a JBL D120f in a Mesa open-back extension cabinet. Both JBLs have original cones and are 8 ohms, so the amp sees 4 ohms.

This set-up sounds absolutely fantastic!! Most particularly, the high end of my Emmons just sings. My steel has the brightness I want to hear, without being shrill or piercing. And it's easily loud enough for gigs where everything is mic'd, which seems to be most gigs nowadays.

Milkman amps are pricey, but they really are worth the money. And 12 inch JBLs (Ds and Ks) are worth hunting around for, particularly with original cones; look for the number 21032 on the back of the cone.
