So, what's you inventory of Pedal Steels, any in the closet, under your bed, outside in the pool, how about the dog house?

Currently I have 2 set up inside my den/music room and 2 inside my bedroom closet, plus 1 Fender D-6 Non-Pedal steel, purchased in 1966, also inside a closet.

I have two. A'76 Emmons D10 P/P and a"74 MSA S12 Classic. I would like to find another Emmons but an S10. If anyone wants the MSA let me know. It's set up as an S10 because those two extra strings make me crazy.

1 right now. The most I've ever owned at the same time is 3. But I do have about 10 non-pedal steels. Do those count?

Emmons Legrande 2 and late 70's MSA U12. Just like to have one in case I have repair issues or something. Play the U12 mostly. Case is smaller, and lighter. Easier to pack up and move quickly. Love the single neck with extra bass. Dont plan on any more. Set for long time.

Only been a steel player (or trying to be) for three months and already have two. I bought me a new Stage One last December and then ended up with a GFI Ultra that a friend of mine bought new in December and sold it to me in January. Was going to sell one but I just changed my mind. Every body else has two.

Three pedal steels-a 1974 Emmons GS with three pedals, one knee(my first steel), a GFI Ultra D-10 with eight pedals and five knees, and a Jackson Blackjack Custom SD-10 with a pad with three pedals and four knee levers. The Jackson is my main guitar and best guitar-it's wonderful for home use, steel guitar shows, and playing in church. It also gives me the sound I've been looking for for fifteen years.

Three that my wife knows of, two Mullens and one WBS. As long as I buy all in the same colour she won't know the difference

Doug, there must be a guideline that non-pedal steels count as half of a pedal steel so you have 8. I think I read it on The Forum a while ago.

As for the number I have, I'll plead the 5th in case my wife is watching. I do live in three different countries throughout the year, so I need several. steve t
