Wayne was the 1st steel player that I got to see on my 1st trip to Nashville. He had a blue Sho-Bud . Later on my next trip he played the same guitar , but it was green. The pigment turned , like it did on a lot of blue guitars. I remember that he played on lower Broadway nearly every day , and later went to Gabe's .

I remember Wayne from lower Broadway and he was playing there about every day. A very nice guy, RIP my old friend.
