We will be having a meeting on April 18th at 2:00 pm at the Oakdale, MN library. The address is 1010 Heron Ave. This location is just two blocks east of 694. If you are coming from the North and Northwest area of the Twin Cities, take 694 East and follow it to the 10th Street exit. This is the last exit before you reach 94, and if you pass it you will need to go to the next exit and turn around. When you take the exit of off 694, turn left at the stop light, go to the second stop light, this will be Heron Ave, take a left and you will see the library on the left.
If you are coming from the west metro, take 94 east to the 694/494 exit, and go north on 694. The first exit will be 10th street, Take the exit ramp, go to the light, turn right, and then go to the second stop light, this will be Heron, and the library is on your left.
If you are coming form the south, and are outside the metro area, you may need to take 35E to 494, and then follow 494 East to the 694/494 change, and take the first exit after you cross over 94.
If you need to get explicit directions to the location, you can use Google Maps, or Mapquest to get directions.
We will be hosting Bill Rudolph of the Williams Guitar Company, and Wayne Dahl at our meeting. Bill will be giving a demonstration on how to set up and maintain your steel guitar. Wayne will give us some information on his career with Martina McBride, and maybe play a few songs for us.
Please share this with those you know who have an interest in attending and spread the word about our organization. This is open to all players, no matter your experience. Hope to see you all there. Hours of the meeting will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
