I have a Vintage National lap steel for sale. It is in excellent condition and plays wonderfully. It has a strong Valco stringthru pickup that sounds great. The MOTS finish is in excellent condition with only a slight chip on the back by the guitar jack. It is a comfortable 23" scale length. I removed the cord that are attached to these old laps and installed a modern 1/4" guitar jack. Much better, for sure. It will come in it's original Geib hardcase which is in very good condition with a few scuffs and scrapes but all latches work and it is solid. Built between 1941-1947. Looks like this dates from 1943-1947 according to Valco serial numbers here: http://www.oldfrets.com/Valco/Dating.html

If I didn't have more of these than I need, I'd scarf it up. They sound great! Decent price and already modded with a 1/4" jack.
