Did not get a response to this on "steel players" so will try this. Tommy said he had numerous pick ups on his Mullen before he found the right ones. Anyone know what these are? If not, maybe Tommy can let us know. For me and all Mullen fans, this should be great info.

I have heard him play 5 different guitars.

One sounds as good as the other.

It's in the hands baby!

Thanks Sid, what you said is true, however I would still like to know what pick ups he is using since I also have a Mullen. Also many more Mullen players I feel would like to know too.

I would guess it is a stock Mullen pickup wound to around 20K for road work.
