The local music store was getting rid of some old stuff, and they gave me this set of steel guitar strings. My guess is that they're from the early 70's.
Any thoughts?

Yes, 1970s and 80s, as I remember. I have one of those old Fender sleeves hanging on the wall of my music room. Brings back memories of the old daze.

And back into the '60s--I remember those envelopes from when I was in junior high (Socrates was a teaching assistant.)

Meanwhile, I've long had a bunch of these

(sets and boxes) for many years and wondered exactly how old the magenta ones are. I would guess mid-late '50s. (Paging Jody Carver...)
