74 fat back, bolt on, I'm playing one right now. Wood neck too, can't beat that.

Are those the wood necks that I keep reading about?
And that big green thing on the switch area, is that a big tone capacitor?

Yeah that's one of the good ones John. She plays smooth and sounds awesome. And she stays in tune too!

I was reading (I know, most of you gurus know this) but in 1974 Ron Lashley SR was building these
guitars and the Big E was a very active consultant at the time. Wonder if his magic got on the guitars???

i wonder where those steels got their name?

sounds like larry's really gotten alot of appreciation for this beautiful steel in the weeks he's owned it. how does it sound in the mix at all your gigs over all that time?
