I sure hope it works better than it looks. That is one of the ugliest pedals I have ever seen. I would never buy one for that reason. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Imagine trying to read the fine print in a low light situation. |

In my opinion, that's just a plain ridiculous design. John made reference to reading it in low light, it's hard for me to read it as is.
I don't know what audience they were trying to attract, but I'm not part of it.
My 2 cents, YMMV. |

I'm thinking that once you learn it, you won't notice the stupid script. They'll rapidly become ingrained. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Looks like it has some very interesting and useful features. I'm looking forward to hearing what it sounds like. _________________ Bob |

We're living in a great age, almost unlimited choices of reverb pedals and micro brews.
It wasn't long ago that it was just Heineken and RV-2's... |

...to me, it's still low contrast print on that dark background. Just my opinion it would be hard to read in a low light situation.
But to each their own.
My 2 cents, YMMV. |

Once the black light gets turned on, reading it won't be a problem. |

I like the graphics. Being a child of the 60's and Peter Max infused advertising during those impressionable years I can't help being attracted to it.
After watching and listening to the infomercial, I feel I am the target audience they may be aiming for. Trippie psychedelica aimed at the baby boomers who they say have all the money.
Sorry, I don't know how to delete the ad at the beginning of this clip

OK, I'm a sucker for Lexicon reverbs. I bought one of these babies and really like it. A nice reverb pedal. I especially like the Hall and Spring reverbs. _________________ To write with a broken pencil is pointless. |

Digitech makes great products. I went from using a Mesa Maverick tube amp and a high dollar boutique loaded pedalboard to a Digitech rack modeler (gsp1101) for 6 string and I've gotten more compliments on my tone than I have in a long long time. |

You know, the controls are identical to a digitech rv-7. I wonder if this is a repackaged rv-7? _________________ "You call that thing a guitar?" |

Same brain, slightly different presets, small enclosure, better footswitch. Basically if you don't mind the form or settings on the RV-7 its not an upgrade. |

"Liveliness" is a fairly common term used by reverberators to signify the amount of treble in the reverbs - like, you turn it way down to emulate a room with carpeting or lotsa meat inside. I like Digitech stuff a lot - their RP150, 250, 350, 155, 255 etc. have the same basic audio chip as the GSP1101, and to my ear sound better than the equivalent Line6 POD's, Boss's and others. They took the same chip out of their $99 do-everything RP155, stuck it into their Hardwire pedals which each do only one thing, and they sold well because everybody knows that stand-alone pedals sound better.
They do seem to be spreading themselves out. The high-tech crowd gets the Hardwires, they re-jigger it a bit and put on a far-out paint job for the nuevo-hippie boutique pedal buyers? Groovy... I am so-oo fooled. They'll also sell you a "Supernatural" or a "Digiverb" reverb pedal... they have FIFTEEN overdrive pedals. And they're all the best! Mormon slave labor triumphs over Chinese slave labor, go USA! |

I have a RP-155 as well as the hardwier rv-7 reverb pedal. I love the sounds I can get from the RP-155, but it is wayyy too complicated to tweak setting on stage. Sure, switching between presets is great, but if I need to adjust some parameter, it is too hard for me to do in a live situation.
That is why I like pedals rather than do-everything boxes- the user interface experience. _________________ "You call that thing a guitar?" |

The hardwire dirt pedals are all analog. As are the new DOD pedals. |
