Excellent, and I love all those slidey sixths at the end. |

I wonder what Sor would think if he could hear. Pretty tough stuff to play;
I used to have his book of guitar studies,
but you had to be able to read it to play it.
The walking sixths would have Sor scratching his head.
Me too. I enjoyed it. _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |

Nicely done, Steve. Just shows you there's a well of material out there for the steel that's not just one more version of Sleepwalk. _________________ Steel Guitar Books! Website: www.volkmediabooks.com |

Thanks guys! Sor has a lot of creative, inventive, even playful pieces and I think he’d be pleased to see people having fun with them in new ways. I wouldn’t fool around with his more formal things though.
It’s hard to find classical guitar music that’s playable on a six string steel. The tab for this piece is note-for-note except for a C chord at the end of each part.
I appreciate your kind words, despite all the mistakes I’m sure you saw in the performance (and two more that I edited out). |
