ran across this on ebay...i've never seen this variation before and pretty sure its the last of a long run of this model before it was discontinued. probably around 1955-56 judging by the case. pretty cool, looks brand new, a time capsule.

That guys has been unloading a lot of steels on Ebay as of late. Some cool stuff. A bit pricey.

According to George Gruhn the Model B was discontinued by 1955. Rickenbacker guitars had grey tolex cases well into the 1960s.

The Single line Kluson tuners were used (at least on Fenders) from about'56 through the early '60,s.
This may be a late one but I am sure it would be a thrill as any B6 is, besides that it is very clean.

That's Micheal Cord. He had a Hawaiian record label (Cord International?) that put out some great stuff. I sold him a bunch of guitars. In the 90s he was buying up everything he could get his hands on. I guess now it's time to unload.

Yeah, he's been on eBay for many years. Nothing but beautiful rare guitars in excellent condition, at full market value or more.
