I spoke to Mr. Franklin a few weeks ago and he informed me that the guitar he has in progress is almost finished and that he will start on my D10 next. Any suggestions for me before he starts? I ordered a black D10 and I'm still working on the changes.(hey, I only had a year to think about it ) I will ask for Truetone pickups if he can supply them. (I love the one I have on my Emmons p/p) If not, I will change the pickups once I get the guitar. Hopefully I can finalize everything with Mr. Franklin next week in St Louis.

Bob, Paul Sr. just finished my new guitar. I'm
picking it up on Tues.!!!!!!!! Mine is a deep blue d-10 with 9/5. I ordered one extra knee lever and he was great at giving suggestions as to which change I should get. you can't go wrong with
Franklins. Great people, great guitars!!!!!!!!

Hi, Bob, I would definitely go with the Truetones... I'm sure Jerry can work with you on getting a set to Franklin in time, and wound for just the tone you want. http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum5/HTML/005329.html
