| Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the A pedal/F lever chord (i.e. G on 6th fret) is a lot more "unforgiving" on a 24" scale? Seems like on a 24" scale (such as Carter) that change just never sounds right to me, where as on a 24 1/4" scale (such as Zum) it has a sound I can live with? Need some comments please. |

Have you tried going to a wound 6th string?
Try a .022W or a .024W.

It must be a difference in the way the guitars have been set up, how they are tuned, or maybe a bad string. Any difference caused solely by an additional 1/4" of string length would never be noticed...trust me!
A difference of 1/2" is necessary to make what I would call a significant or noticeable change.
