I've used it a few times, not that many. I had it for backup but don't need it any more. It's in mint condition; sells for 185 on the web. The 'leatherette' case isn't mint; I did some surgery on it awhile back. Foam's easily found, though. I want $110 shipped, conus.
The large diaphragm PR 22 features innovative dynamic microphone technology for outstanding vocal performance with the versatility to excel at a wide range of other professional applications.
It offers a wide frequency range (40 Hz - 18 kHz), outstanding low handling noise and the ability to withstand huge amounts of SPL. Its cardioid pattern delivers excellent rear rejection of unwanted sounds, and it boasts the strongest magnet structure available.
In addition to the special magnet structure, the PR 22 achieves its exceptional performance by using a large 1 1/8" low mass voice coil assembly with a unique internal sorbothane suspension system that reduces undesirable handling noise. Besides thriving at extreme high sound pressure levels, the PR 22 and is immune to overload conditions, making it the perfect choice for vocal and live sound applications.
The PR 22 comes with a leatherette carrying bag, a mic clip and three metal windscreens (black, silver and gold).

This is the microphone that I use. Bob Heil and his crew make a great mic. I have the "Pink Pearl" version of the PR22. This mic was indeed built and assembled in the USA. great mic, great price. |
