Howdy Hilton pedal users,
Just got a Hilton - wish I had done it sooner!
One thing I've noticed that's a wee bit peculiar to me is that the first few degrees of travel don't seem to involve an increase in volume. Rather, it's as if I can move the pedal for a bit and have no volume, and then the volume begins to increase from zero to max across the rest of the movement/arc.
Is this normal? I know some adjustments can be made. I'm trying to figure out if this is by intent or not.
Thanks! |

On the bottom of the pedal there should be a cutoff pot.
Adjust it just a little bit to set it where you want the
volume to cut off. I have mine set to where I still have
just a little volume still on at the pedal up position.
WARNING: Do not turn it past where you feel it stop. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

The Hilton volume pedals have an adjustment called "off point" that controls where the sound kicks in. It is described in the manual. If you don't have a manual a PDF of it is available on Greg Cutshaw's site here: http://www.gregcutshaw.com/Hilton/Hilton.pdf. |
