Anyone have info on how to use the 'cents' function on the Peterson strobe? _________________ GFI Ultra SD-10; Nashville 112; Hilton pedal, George L Cables; Pearse bar; Live Stings;Walker seat by Billy Knowles. |

You have to have a master's degree in engineering to understand these things. I bought a Strobo Plus HD thinking it would be great for tuning.......have an old Boss TU-12 tuner.....it's more accurate. It's probably just me....it takes simple things for a simple mind....... _________________ The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God" Psa. 14:1

What do you want to do?
Approximately 3.9 Cents (4 rounded) to 1 Hz.
Thus for example, using the Newman tuning chart, the 3rd string (G#) is tuned -3.5Hz or -14 Hz.
If you use the pre-programmed Newman tunings, you tune everything to no movement in the strobe (Zero), as its compensated for in the programming.
And, the Boss TU12 has both Hz and Cents scales. |

Thanks a lot, Jack
appreciate it very much for the info....my little BOSS tuner has both as you say and has been very helpful, just thought the other would be easier to see and hopefully more accurate.....oh well _________________ The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God" Psa. 14:1
