cool stuff!

I was messing around with this, and it looks like you can also pull the bar back and get the unison notes with the 3A and the open 4th string rather than lowering the 2nd string. I kinda like the sound of the open string in there.

Thanks for posting

Yeah Joe, sounds good. Also, when he's on the 15th fret and going back and forth from the 6th string to the 1st string, he may be toggling between the 6th string and the 4th string with the C pedal. After watching the video again, it kinda looks like he's not quite reaching all the way out to grab the 1st string. Take a look.

Buddy is such a total badass in that video, great fills on the first verse and a killer solo, played with complete mastery.

I can recall this being spoken about before and the consensus was that Buddy was using both feet, the right foot on C pedal. here it is

Thanks Chris. I had no idea that thread was there. That's interesting. My question is, did the volume pedals back then not have springs? All my volume pedals shut off if I take my foot off.

Probably not an issue with E9 but C6 will be a different story. Yeah it has to stay put. I used to often accidentally shut the volume off when reaching for pedal 7 with the right foot. Not anymore. In fact I'm thinking of putting pedal 5 onto a lever. But I'm getting off topic.
