2000 Carter D-10 8x5 for sale.

I had this listed as 2007 by mistake. The SN 01430359 20 indicates a 2000 build.

Copedent is standard Emmons all around. E’s on left knee, LKV lowers Bs to Bb, RKL lowers 6 a whole tone(with a split) and raises 1 a whole tone also lowers string 3 on back neck, RKR lowers 2&9 with dedicated half-stop for string 2.

This is a great steel. I bought it from Damir Besic in December last year. I first used it on a 60 day run where we played 55 shows and I think I touched one nylon tuner. It stays in tune very well. Almost no cab drop. Easiest pedal action of any steel I have played. Plays exactly as it should. Good cosmetic shape but there are some scratches etc here and there, not mint condition. Very light weight:
In case - ~55lbs
Out of case - 24.6 lbs
Pouch with 4 legs and all rods - 8 lbs
Pedal board - 3.8 lbs
Case - 18.4 lbs
I have flown it with body in an SKB rifle case and legs/pedal rack in a soft shell case.

I have $2200 in it and am asking $2000.

Here is a photo album with a ton of high-res pictures:

Are you sure about the year? It looks like the older logo. Great guitar and great price anyway.

Peter - not sure what I was thinking when I put 07. I have fixed the year above after checking the SN.

Thanks Jim!

I'd like to have this guitar, but my wife says "NO"
Should I do it anyway?
BTW, she is a 240lb Roller Derby Queen and it takes my bones a long time to heal at my age.

I have played this steel and it is a great one. Will is a good guy to deal with also. Straight forward and honest.

Thanks Bob.

As evident in the photo album, I might be over-zealous about giving an honest representation of things I sell. My opinion of this steel is genuine. Almost no cab drop, easiest action I've ever played, super lightweight, flys well, stays in tune remarkably well.

I'll split shipping and ins.
