I'm selling an excellent rosewood mica S-10 fatback, #1302 S. I believe this is a '69-'72 guitar. (Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Emmons set-up (more or less), 3+4. It has the original wide cast pedals and everything else appears to be original, including the case. The case shows significant wear, but is fully serviceable. The guitar has a 4th cross rod for another floor pedal, although that would require additional parts, which are not included. There is one knee lever mechanism that looks to be either repaired or modified, but everything works as it should. Except for that knee lever mechanism, the guitar as in excellent overall condition with no significant cosmetic or functional issues.

This guitar sounds and plays great and is ready for gigs, studio or whatever. $2400 plus shipping, insurance and PayPal fee, if any.

Thank you.

Drew, as to question of your guitar's age, if it helps, my S-10 is #1157S and the Emmons Company told the previous owner that it was made in 1971.

That sure is an appealing guitar! In really nice condition, too. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks for the comments. '72 is probably about right for this guitar. They aren't making these any more and those who play them know there's nothing quite like them. I switched to single ten because they weigh about a third less than a double neck and I was only playing about one or two songs per set on C6.

Thank you, Andy, for your question. But no, I am not interested in trades. I need fewer guitars. Wink

Alas, this guitar is sold. Shipped today. Thanks for the interest and I will be making the donation to the forum as soon as I confirm the guitar arrived undamaged, etc.

For the record, I really hated to let this guitar go and never would have if I didn't still have another old Emmons to keep me warm. Winking
