Did anyone see that great John Oates special on Paladia last night? Great music delivered by expert players and singers! Of special note was Russ Pawl on steel; beautiful playing, very tasty and perfectly in tune. Anyone know what steel Russ is playing on that show? It looks like some kind of vintage machine, but sounded like a modern E9 tuned steel to me. Shane Theroit was awesome on guitar as well. Check it out!
