I wanted to thank all the staff and members of the SWSGA in Phoenix for making my first time at the show feel so welcome. My wife and I really enjoyed performing at the show on Saturday and we had such a great time. We really enjoyed the Sheraton Hotel as well as the warm temps. My wife also liked the women steel players who were there. She and I loved Jan Wise and her soulful playing. I really liked Mike Siglar, Fred Justice, Herb Steiner, and so many others. The Cajun Connection guys were great. The ladies at the staff table made me feel right at home. Thanks also to the Williams Guitar company for the use of the great guitar.

Albert…EVERYONE commented (VERY POSITIVELY!) about your first appearance at our show. We all loved you! Your set was super! Wish you could have joined us, along with Fred, Billy Easton, David Wright, and Doug Jernigan at our Sunday morning church service. Maybe next year…

Let me know if you’ll be at the Wisconsin Rapids, or Peoria, IL show this year. My brothers no-good-in-law, from Wisconsin and northern Illinois want to come see and listen to you again!

I was happy to hear your accolades given to the ladies at the admin desk. Peggy Porter and all the volunteer girls worked diligently in an effort to make everyone's check-in a pleasurable experience. Thank you!

Blessings…

Albert, it was nice to visit with you again. Enjoyed reliving some of the San Diego scene from the late 70's and 80's.
You were a great player when I met you then and have only improved. You sound superb.
Take care

Hey, Albert, Glad to know your fame and expertise has reached so many places to so many people! I wish you could be part of the Ozark Steel Guitar Association family! I think the last time I saw you was in Branson at Silver Dollar City when you played for McKeithan group. I was surprised to see you because I had just seen you a week earlier at the St. Louis show. Jim Means, a mutual friend of ours, told me he's had the privilege of making music with you! He's sure a good friend of mine! Take care, my friend!

Come on Albert, admit it, the only reason you went to Phoenix was an excuse to get away from the Minnesota cold.
