Here's my take on Jay Dee Maness' great steel break on Hello Trouble. I took it off their "Running" CD. Here it is on youtube and it starts around the 0:36 second mark.

Corrections and easier ways to play it are always welcome. Enjoy...

End of the 2nd line, I would slide down to 10B instead of 11 (6th string).
Great job Jeffrey, thanks! |

Hey Jeff,
Did some more work on this, and I ended up re-tabbing the whole thing... hope you don't mind! The 2nd half in particular sounded different to me, so here's my best effort.

Hey Alex, looks good. I couldn't figure out how to work in that Bb I was hearing down at the 8th fret. I don't have splits on my P/P but that looks great at 15 with the B pedal/G lever combo on the 6th string. This worked out really well for me haha...I get it started and then you type it up all nice and neat and slick up a few moves...thanks! |

Yes, team work! Let's do it again! I love Jay Dee, I think studying is playing is going to be my resolution for 2015. |
