Rains- SD10, 4 X 5 in pristine condition. $2200 plus shipping to lower States only.. Basic Emmons E9th tuning set-up. The additional 4th pedal raises strings one a whole tone and string two a half tone. Very easy to reconfigure one's tuning. The pictures alone I hope speaks for this guitar and case. One thing this Guitar does not have is a serial number. If it did, I'm told the range would be somewhere between 65 and 70. I'm second owner. I bought it from James Foster out of Abilene who once worked helping to build the brand for Bobby Rains. As I'm told, this Guitar was built in 2005 and taken by James as part payment for his work. It had only three pedals when I bought it, but the undercarriage was already built to easily accommodate a fourth. I added a matching fourth pedal. For sound, If you've ever listen to David Hartley play on his Rains, -well, need I say more? Except for my moving from Cape Cod to NC, this black beauty has never been out of the house. Any interested party living nearby, is welcome to come by and play it for themselves. And even if you don't or can't buy it, at least you can testify to my description.

Thanks for the comments. In another private message, I was asked about the entire copedant set-up. It is as follows:-

Pedal A raises 5th and 10th strings B to C#
Pedal B raises 3rd and 6th strings G# to A
Pedal C raises 4th E to F# and 5th B to C#
Pedal D raises 1st F# to G# and 2nd Eb to E

RKL lowers 2nd string D# a half to D and full down to C# along with lowering the 9th string D# down to C#

RKR raises 1st string F# up to G and the 6th string G# down to F#

LKV lowers the 5th string B to Bb and the 10th string B to Bb.

LKR lowers both the 4th and 8th strings E to D#

LKL raises both the 4th and 8th strings E up to F

The only split I have is with the 6th string using pedal B and RKR which together gives a half-tone, bringing the F# up to G.

I'm almost your age & been playing mostly homemade steels or steels 30 years old or more most of my life. This looks like a really good guitar I could play until I can't play anymore. So if it is still available I could pay by PayPal or what ever. Harold

Harold,
Thanks for your interest. It is still available. But through PM messages received, I have two interested parties ahead of you and both are here in NC and available to make the trip to pick it up. Keep posted should neither work out. -Bill
