Steelpicker videos are great but not when a song is missing. On the video of Ron Elliott at the 1990 ISCG he announced he was going to play this song. Then the video jumped to being joined by Lloyd Green. Great I know but I didn't hear the song. Thought I would have a go at it on my Remington lap steel.

Mick,
I am sorry for your disappointment in my video.
My videos are raw and unedited. If a song is missing, there are any number of reasons, such as, tape ran out, I screwed up on the mix and etc and etc.
I post these videos hoping to inspire young players to take up steel and keep it alive and to bring memories to us old farts.
Plus thousands do Steelers around the world never got to hear these great players live.
So I hope that because “your†song was missing that you will continue to enjoy what I do post.
There is MUCH more to come.

Never fear Bill. I will always enjoy those videos and look forward with anticipation to those in the future. Where else would I get my inspirations? You just keep them coming. I spend hours listening to them. _________________ MSA Classic 12 string Universal, Remington Steelmaster D8, National D8 Console x 2, George Boards Lap Steel, National New Yorker. |

I have commented many times here and on Facebook on the videos Bill has posted. I too appreciate what he has posted as well. I am positive Bill would never leave something out to hurt any steel player. Thanks Mick for the link you posted here. |
