Hey Guys,
I'm new here, I talked to b0b and he said this would be the best place to post this.
I just released a new website called www.nashvilleprosteel.com that features pro players Randle Currie, Mike Daly, Steve Hinson, Mike Johnson, and Gary Morse.
The website shows them explaining how they come up with parts, solos & fills on songs in the studio, then they perform and record right in front of you! New videos will be added every month and you can see them all at anytime from your computer.
Thanks for listening, Mark.

Hey Mark,
The videos are not in synch with the words. The overall quality is quite good though. |

Hi David,
Thanks for the note.
I can assure you that everything is in sync! All the video and audio is filmed in HD at its highest resolution. What computer do you have, what's its age? Older computers cannot keep up with such high-quality HD video.
I have personally witnessed this myself on a seven year old PC compared to a two year old iPad. The older and slower computer is just that, and the newer iPad looks just awesome.
Trust me, all the videos were shown to many people prior to its release and nobody had your issue.
Bottom line, IT'S IN SYNC because it never would have left the editing room any other way. It's your computer.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I'm here to help. Thanks!
Mark

I have seen several of the videos, and I like what I see.
P.S. I had no problems playing or watching any of them. |

Hey Jim,
All the billing information is located on the website. Go to www.nashvilleprosteel.com and click on the info button in the upper right hand corner, several buttons will then appear, one of them says subscription. Click on that and all the price info is there along with everything else about the website.
If you want the quick answer... it's $29.95 per month with new videos added every month. If you break it down it's basically $1 a day for PRO instruction straight out of Music City. All past videos will be remain there for viewing anytime and continue to grow.
All content is exclusive to nashvilleprosteel.com and we're all pretty passionate about our instructional niche we created. The players involved really get in-depth with all their knowledge, you'll definitely grow as a player from this. NPS is brand new, give it a shot!
Thanks for your interest.

Looks great Mark. I could watch this stuff all day. As a potential subscriber, I have a few questions : How much content is currently available? how long is each video? will the player roster change? can we count on new material monthly from each player?
thanks |

Hi Asa and everyone else,
Yes, good questions. I've received a lot of inquiries like this and have been meaning to post about it here.
Currently there is over 3 hours of instructional content! This features all the PRO players involved and 12 full-length videos ranging in time from 10-20 minutes each. Each video is a full, complete song with a good mix of vocal and instrumental material.
You get to see the PRO explain how they think and approach each song, then record each part in front of your eyes from various Music Row studios. Intros, fills, solos, melody lines, outros, overdubs, etc. etc. It's all there! A lot of times we record a song a couple of times, once in a basic and straight way, the other time we get more complex and fancy... perfect for players of any skill level to learn from.
Can't forget the gear, man. The PRO also explains what sounds they're using, including amps and effects.
New video content is added every month (we just launched a week ago!) and it will vary depending on everyone's schedule, however, new content every month is what the site is and will be based on. Obviously any acts of God or outrageous world events could pose difficulties, lets hope for the best!
Honestly, if there's enough subscribers to keep this site going there will be plenty of new and exciting content coming. Plus, all the previously released videos remain there for viewing anytime. Remember, we have NO annoying advertising or pop-ups on the site, only our exclusive content for you.
Recently, I received a verbal commitment from another high-profile Nashville PRO steel player to join the website. Because of scheduling conflicts he was unable to start with us on the first round, but he'll be sharing his talents and many years of knowledge with you all in the near future. I'm not comfortable releasing his name yet until everything is locked in, I hope you understand. Will post as soon as I can about this here. Thanks for your patience.
Streaming video is the current standard and will be from here on out. DVDs are dead, I can't even make one on a new Mac now, no drive! If you guys are looking for new and exciting steel guitar instructional info and want to keep it alive, please give www.nashvilleprosteel.com a shot and take steel guitar into the future. We believe in it, do you?
Thanks for listening!
I'm here for any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
Mark |

Hey Larry,
I replied several times to the email you sent me from this forum and it bounced back each time. Your email address was mrd in that one and mrld on the order form. So, I tried one to mrld on its own and never got a reply either.
There is indeed an ipad version for www.nashvilleprosteel.com and it looks pretty great, I must say. I'm looking at it right now. Because so many pads/tablets are out there, we made sure to make an NPS version for it. I'll ask my webmaster about your issue and get you taken care of.
Please contact me through the email link on the NPS website.
Thanks!

Tony ..... That tone comes from the two pickup Show Pro. Jeff Surratt is currently building some great custom 2 pickup guitars which allows for a variety of tones out of the guitar . The guitar I played on the video currently has a double coil Jason Lollar pickup in the bridge position and a single coil in the neck position that was made by Russ Pahl. |
