Pete Frazier died on January 10th at age 95. For thirty years, Pete played steel for the San Antonio-based Texas Top Hands, perhaps the oldest continuously-performing western swing band in Texas. I was fortunate to talk with Pete many times at the Farmers Daughter in San Antonio, a dance hall established by Bob Wills and common venue for the band. He was full of entertaining stories. He was an accomplished steel player and a gentleman.
