Such a wealth of info and humor, that I thought I'd re-post this "oldie" for those that missed it the first time around.

We got to "pick his brains" one time at St Louis. He held a seminar and to be truthful there wasn't much "instruction" in the seminar but it was priceless to freely ask questions and get his responses.

That is super informative.

For instance he mentions using a fender triple custom on "Swingin' 40s Thru The 80s."..

I've been hankering to hear Buddy doing non-pedal for a long time now, and wasn't aware that there was a whole album of material.

Great stuff. Thank you.

Thank you for posting the link to that very interesting and informative piece, Tony. As a relative newbie to the SGF, this is the first time that I have ever read it.

As a devotee of the original Emmons push/pull, I developed a new appreciation for Mr. Shot Jackson when Mr. Emmons said "If Shot hadn't been so set in his ways, there would never have been an Emmons guitar."
