We got to "pick his brains" one time at St Louis. He held a seminar and to be truthful there wasn't much "instruction" in the seminar but it was priceless to freely ask questions and get his responses. |

That is super informative.
For instance he mentions using a fender triple custom on "Swingin' 40s Thru The 80s."..
I've been hankering to hear Buddy doing non-pedal for a long time now, and wasn't aware that there was a whole album of material.

Thank you for posting the link to that very interesting and informative piece, Tony. As a relative newbie to the SGF, this is the first time that I have ever read it.
As a devotee of the original Emmons push/pull, I developed a new appreciation for Mr. Shot Jackson when Mr. Emmons said "If Shot hadn't been so set in his ways, there would never have been an Emmons guitar." |
