Anybody know who plays on the Bonnie Owens record "Hifi to cry by"? Norm Hamlett? Ralph Mooney?

Thanks!

I'd say Norm. Pretty sure the Strangers were her backing band. Doesn't sound like Mooney.

great title! Laughing

Sounds more to me like Norm Hamlet than Mooney, but what do I know...

It's Norm Hamlet for sure, recorded in 1969. I don't think Fuzzy was even still playing by then, and Mooney wasn't recording with Haggard or Owens by then either.

Chuck Berghoffer and John Guerin!? Two of the very hippest jazz and legit players, L.A. studio stalwarts, and just as at home playing hard core country with the Strangers. That's versatlity.
