I've noticed something lately. Our crowd is growing due to the crap comming out of Nashville.Things may be comming around. The stuff on the radio is junk. Its not country, its not pop ist just not good music. We do mostly classic country,Haggard ,Jones ,patsy Cline and our crowds are growwing.I hope this trend keeps going. They moved me back to lead from steel. We never have changed from classic country. For instance,I had the week end off till somebody got wind of it so we'er booked for the week end.I hope this trend keeps up cuzz I cant stand most of this new crapp. _________________ Gibson Les Paul

Let's hope it's a trend.
Maybe it takes something getting revolting enough to make a revolution. |

I hate to say it, but I started playing steel in the 80s and the reason I still
don't feel very accomplished is I too have had to jump from steel back to Telecaster
just to keep working many times. Every few years some pretty decent country would
come out, giving me the opportunity to play steel again, then those songs would
be replaced in the sets by more current junk after a few months.
I'm done jumping back and forth. I'm not gettin any younger. I'm gonna play steel. _________________ Jb in Ohio
