Gary Hoetker already posted this. I’m just listing the times & links to Little Jimmie Dickens’ online Memorial Broadcasts this week.

On Thursday, January 8th @ 11:00 AM CST. the Opry will live stream Little Jimmie Dickens’ Memorial Service at the Grand Ole Opry House.

Also on Thursday, January 8th from 7PM to midnight - Eddie Stubbs will broadcast a 5 hour tribute to Tater. Both broadcasts are here:

There will be steel guitar. We all know Tater brought Buddy Emmons to Nashville. Emmons’ first Opry spot with Dickens’ was July 4th 1955. Stubbs’ show will present a very clear timeline of Nashville before and after the arrival of Emmons and the beginning a new era in the steel guitar and in Country Music.

Here is Emmons’ first issued recording with Little Jimmie Dickens: Columbia 4-21515 “Big Sandy”/”It Scares Me Half to Death” (Recorded January 9, 1956)

Here is Emmons’ very first recording for Dickens cut right before “Big Sandy” but unissued at the time: “I Feel for You (But I Can’t Quite Reach You)”

Stubbs gave a preview on Tuesday night with this 1980's side:

Little Jimmie Dickens “She Always Got What She Wanted” (Jeannie Seely producer/songwriter) w/ Emmons plus Jimmie Capps on lead.
