My wife, Sharon, and I own a ShoBud Lloyd Green model 12 string with 3 pedals and 5 knee levers. We love the instrument EXCEPT for one thing. ShoBud used pot metal castings for the little levers that convert rotating motion into push-pull motion or vice versa. Why anyone would have used this material for that application is beyond me except I'm sure they were cheap. We have broken two of these levers so far. I made one from steel. But since breaking the second one last night and realizing that there are a LOT of them, I'm wondering if there is a steel guitar parts warehouse somewhere that keeps replacement parts. Maybe even somebody makes them from better material. There appear to be at least 3 styles of these levers on our machine.
Help. |

Yes, Joe,
there is ONE who would have just what you need.
The one and only Ed Naylor.
If he hasn't got it, I would imagine that Bobbe Seymour would have them also.
Good luck.
Click on "Events and Anouncments" and look for the topic of "Gone to the Dogs".
Click on Mr. Ed's E-mail link, and go from there.
I am sure that you don't have to look for "Dr. Bobbe", because he will see your post, and E-mail you or post on your "Topic"
I will trade my NEW $1,200 Peavey "Trans-Fex, Pro, 212" Amp for that Steel of yours. This Amp I have has EVERYTHING on it. 128 Presets inside......I could go on and on. Ask Mike Brown at Peavey.
I will even pay for shipping.
E-mail me and let me know.

Hey Ron, that sounds like a great amp you've got there, but Sharon would do mean things to me if I even suggested a trade. Besides, I really do like our LDG model and if I can just get those levers changed out with some better grade material it'll be perfect. |

also if Ed or Bobbe doesn't have what you need (can't imagine that ever happening, though!), you can contact Duane Marrs as well. Ya can't go wrong with either of those 3 folks. |

Sometimes they can go,.........Well, YOU KNOW, Man,
Thanks, I always wanted a LDG.
If ANYONE has a steel, (10 string, at least 3 floors, 4-5 knees that will trade for this killer amp that I bought just 3 months ago, E-mail me and I will even pay for YOUR shipping on top of mine to YOU.
This amp is under a 5 year warrenty that I sent to Peavey. (The warrenty card)
