I figure a clean BCT S10 Carter with 5 pedals and 5 knees is worth $1600 anyway, and I will start there as far as value.. I see Carters with 3 and 5 selling for that much and more.. this guitar is very clean and has been lightly used... If we make a deal it will come to you set up exactly as you want it, and playing and tuning beautifully as it does now with my copedent on it.. Truetone pickup on it.. Really sweet sound with great sustain.. Light as a feather, yet ultra stable.. Its my #1 right now...
Only "problem" with it is that I replaced some of the stainless pull rods with plain steel because it was easier to work. The replaced rods are copper clad. It comes off easily with steel wool, and I can do that if it bothers you. If thats a deal breaker, I doubt you really want a Carter S10 very badly...

Its blue/black swirl mica on the aprons, with solid black on the deck.. There are NO issues at all with this steel!.. I have just decided I want to play all wood steels from now on. I am getting old and just want to have an old steel I guess..
I have an old Marlen , and want another old all wood body, wood neck steel.. Will discuss any brands, Bud, MSA, Marlen,ZB or anything else.. I can add cash if values don't add up, or take cash also.. I really prefer to deal with a long time forumite, or a dealer on this.. There will be some phone discussion of course, and I would be happy to send my steel first, depending on the person involved... I have no problem setting steels up, so I won't require any trades to be set up, but WILL set my Carter up to your specs, as long as you don't mind waiting a bit until its done....
If I can't make a trade deal, I might sell it outright, but will need to find the right wood/lacquer guitar first... This very nice steel guitar will come to you with some spare dog bones and other small Carter parts as well..
