I’ve finally got round to posting this humble tribute to the late, great Weldon.

This is an up tempo version of his 60’s instrumental Corn Crib.
The quality is not good as it’s only a radio cassette sat in front of the stage.
The other stuff is from the 70’s as well with different bands. Some suffers from Cymbalism as you will hear, one song so severely that only the solo is listenable.

Lots of mistakes (cringe), but that was then. I’ve improved a lot since. I can now make mistakes at the drop of a hat.
All I’ve got to do is find the bloke who keeps dropping his hat……

Very nice Tony. Weldon Myrick was definitely one of my favorite players.

Thanks Paul, he was one of my all time favourites.
I was lucky enough to see him on the Opry several times in 1968. He was really fantastic and it stayed with me ever since .

Very sad that ill health had an adverse effect on his playing. I hope his legacy will live on.
