Still not a very good sound, recorded with my cell phone. But I don't have any other recording options at the moment.

Henning,

Nice job, I enjoyed your rendition of this tune and I like your tone. That is a pretty good recording for a cell phone.

Very fine. Is there already an existing steel version of "Healing Hands" which you emulated, or is it completely your own? Anyway, great job!

Joachim,

Go to Billy Cooper's Music web site. Listen to the music playing on the site. It is Billy Cooper's recording of this tune and it is very well done.
I have always liked this song and Billy really nails it. billycooperssteelguitar.com
I just went to the site and Billy has Christmas music up this time of year. Perhaps he will go back to the Healing Hands of Time after Christmas.

Thanks guys Smile

Larry Jamieson,
I have never heard the version you refer to (Billy Cooper). This is my own rendition of it, except for the intro, which is an attempt at what Buddy did in the 60's.

Well you certainly don't need to try and copy someone else's version of that or any other song. Great tone and intonation, great chops. I really enjoyed that. What kind of steel and amp, effects are you using on that clip? I believe you could play with anyone. Hope there are more places to play than there is here in the States. Most places are like a musical desert in this neck of the woods.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments Mr. Green What you're hearing is my Emmons LG III through a Peavey Nashville 112, with a touch of delay/reverb (Boss RV3).
