Thanks, Andy. I enjoyed that very much and immediately downloaded his tab (with standard notation, BTW) for the solos. His analysis of the harmonic structure of these solos is really helpful.
This just further confirms my long held belief that George was a much deeper musician than many people realized.

You're welcome. I've thought for years that Harrison was a masterful player who deserved more credit than he usually gets but I couldn't really have told you exactly why. Now I can.

He tuned his low E- string down to D for the solo in "Act Naturally". Quite an idea for that time!

George's song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" make a really great instrumental for the pedal steel, try it sometime as it's a crowd pleaser....JH in Va.

Don Rich came up with the idea, I agree but didn't have to tune down the low string, because their version was in the key of A.
