Wondering if Bobby Knight or anyone else would have or know how to get an origonal 10 string pickup from a Derby guitar,thanks...Mike

GL E 66 wide mount was the main PU for Derby.
Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

I think Charlie had his own before using the E-66, that's what I'm looking for..Thanks

Mike...I formerly owned one of the very first SD-10's that Charlie built, (purchased from Scotty's Music)and that came through with a factory installed 'E-66'.

Thanks for the replies, I thought that was the case too but a friend of mine was thinking otherwise so I told him I'd ask on here in the event there was a different option at one time. I'll pass this info on.

I'll bet the nice lady at George L's would have all the details you need as to which pickups Charlie used on his steels through yhe years. She can probably also make you the version you desire. I've had several such conversations with her over the years and am always impressed with her historical recollections, providing great detail on what pickup was used by which manufacturer at which time period, etc.
