Just installed an Alumitone, in my,Rains, today & I was pleasantly surprised ,sounds very good, all the way up the neck, good string separation & good tone.

Only down side was, I had to do a little fabrication to get the pick up base, lowered for string clearance, to work out ok. But it wasn't that big a deal for me, to do this.

Pick up is dead quiet & has some of that, single coil sound Smile

I fitted one into my old Marlen. Loved the sound, and no hum!
