Have a old fiddle bought from a estate and know nothing about fiddles. Made in Germany. Has William Lewis & Son Model 100 1/2. As a old bow as seen in pictures. With old case.
Willing to trade for a 8 string guitar with legs or a 10 string with legs or sell for $250.00. Or would except any reasonable offer.

Bob,

Your fiddle is probably a 1/2 size violin, made for younger children. Measure the back. If it is 12" between the perfling on the back, it is a 1/2 size. The case looks to be a 3/4 or full size case.

Bob: I am a violin repairman by trade. This is a 1/2 size violin for a 10 year old child student. The body size is 12 inches. A full adult size is 14 inches. The price you are asking is good if it is ready to play. No violin I have ever seen is ready to play with out paying 100 to 200 the rework the setup. Hope this helps.
