I believe they are made in Japan and I've heard they are simply awesome. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them or the company?

Excel has been around for decades and a number of Forum members have had or still use play them.

Contact Larry Allen who resides in Alaska and Hawaii. He has several and he works on them and knows the mechanics. I have also had 4 or 5 since the late 80s and have been very satisfied with them.

They are lighter than most steels, sound and play just fine and the mechanics are solid.

I agree with Ken; put this in the PEDAL STEEL section and you probably will get more hits.
