Just bought my first Emmons guitar.
A D-10 Legrande II.
serial number 1362L
Black.

Mine is 1219-L, manufactured in '94, shipped Jan. '95 according to Emmons. I don't know if their numbers were used sequential or not.

Assuming you mean 1300'ish. And not 13 L. I'm thinking late 92 or early 93. Doesn't really matter. They were all pretty much the same from 92 till around 2000.

I need to add. I'm not knocking the guitars built after 2000. It's just that the 92's thru 99 where built with the same components,(except for a few custom orders) by the same management.

They were not. However, the Derby black's, Derby Red's and Rosewood mica's are often real close. Less popular colors can sometimes be several years off.
