I am the second owner of this guitar, Tim Marcus purchased it new in 2007 then in 2008 it was sent back to Rains to have the "undercarriage mod" done and have the C6th neck installed. It has Tonealigner pickups on both necks. The guitar is in great shape and with my very limited experience, plays very well. I purchased it from Tim about year ago and frankly have found little time to learn/play it. I love pedal steel and wanted to be able to play for my pleasure but time does not seem to allow me that so I am going to let it go. It comes with two fresh sets of strings one E9th and one C6th. I am asking $2400.00 plus shipping.

Notice you have a couple of Rains. Are they still making them?

Wayne, according to Curtis Hogue, he crafts the SD10's and is making a few as he has limited time. When he gets around to retirement, he would like to do a full time shop. He does repairs and supplies parts. Also, Gary Carpenter is the D10 guru. Not sure if he is making any guitars at this time but has been very helpful to me thru phone conversations.
