What's a good way to attach an effects pedal to the guitar leg? I've got a Zoom MS-50G that can replace the whole pedal board, and put it in reach if I could attach it. |

Tommy Dodd has a great mounting bracket for that unit. Check with him. |

Roger, Tommy's website only shows a bracket for the PodXT.
Do you have a link to the Zoom MS-50G bracket? |

Tommy/if you're handy with tools, you can make your own leg holder all you need is a short piece of three-quarter PVC pipe. You cut a gap out of the pipe just large enough that you can press it on the guitar leg.. Make a pan the same size of the bottom of your unit, attache the pan to the PVC pipe. It works real good how have several of made for myself. Willie SIMS. |

Thanks Willie, I'll probably have a go at it (in my "spare" time). |

I bought a couple of these clamps on Ebay:
Remove the chrome stud, attach a small aluminum tray in it's place, add velcro to the tray and the bottom of the pedal. I use two of these, one for my tuner, and one for my RP155. I also removed the rubber cap on the screw and put a penny behind it, to give a flat surface behind the screw. Otherwise, the screw can go through the rubber and mar the chrome on the legs. |

Hey Dick/that is a neat leg attachment you came up with, it is similar to the one I suggested. I believe if you would make the PVC pipe cutout notch smaller you would not need the Velcro a round the leg of your guitar. My cutout on the PVC attachment is smaller than yours, then all you have to do is press it on the leg. Willie SIMS. |

Willie, you are absolutely correct. I stole that piece of PVC from something I bought off of the forum. The Zoom 50 is heavy enough that I needed the Velcro to make sure it didn't unpeel itself from the leg. It doesn't. If I ever get the gumpshun I'll redo mine, and not have as wide a cutout. What I do like about it besides its functionality, is its small size to fit in my pack seat and how easy it is to set up. Notice the thumb screw that allows me to change the angle of the pedal. Works pretty good. Of course it doesn't help my playing. ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif)

Here's one I made for my tuner, when you cut the PVC that goes on the leg, you need to grind the stop ring out of the inside center of the "T", if you use lexan, it can be shaped like metal without heating...plexiglass shatters if you try to shape without heating....BF
