This is an original composition for steel guitar. A few days ago I was playing with my grandsons in the living room, and picking up a guitar lying nearby, started idly strumming a few chords when this sequence of notes seemed to come repeatedly to my whistling lips. So i recorded it on my iPhone to remember it.
"Waikiki Moon", which in the Hawaiian language, would be " Mahina Waikiki" brings back happy memories as I will in a few days be in Waikiki again, re-visiting those magical islands.
Instruments: Steelocaster A6, Crown nylon acoustic, Martin Custom X, and Roland E-09 sampling keyboard ( strings, voices, flute, bass), 12 tracks in the mix. Key of E.
