After years of internal debate, I am resigned to the fact I may never play western swing on this machine.
So, I'm letting it go. It needs to be played. I haven't had it out of the house for quite some time.
As far as I can tell from under the center tuning pan, it was made in 3/55 by NH. This is a pre-blend control guitar. It's a Cadillac. Long and pretty. All original as far as I know. Chrome in great shape, some lateral scratches between the necks which I always thought were weird, otherwise finish is in great shape. All electronics in working order. Switches a little scratchy. Typical era specific tweed case. Spring latches do not spring, but they latch. More pictures available. Email with questions, if any.
$2000 plus shipping.

What! No comments, criticism or kibitzing?
I thought for sure the price would rally some.
I'm open to offers and discussion.
Otherwise, I'll just assume the "Universe" wants me to keep it. Winking

It looks like a real beauty. Bet it sounds like a million bucks. I already have a triple 8 Remington or I might be offering on it.

Joe, I like your analogy to a Cadillac being long and pretty is a good one ! I would be interested if I didnt already have one, altho mine is just not nearly as purty Smile
I hope you are enjoying the Carter D10 that I brought up to you last winter !

Thanks Al, Larry and Dave. It does sound killer!

Larry, I've got the Carter set up to a 9x9 now. It's a good little axe.

I'm guessing a lot of folks on the forum know Joe. But if anyone doesn't, I can tell you I've been to his home, taken a few lessons from him, and he's a good guy to deal with.
Joe, should I copy your wife on that info too...? Ha!
Seriously, he's a stand-up guy to deal with.
John
