Maybe BOB or someone else knows if the effects loop in a boogie Simul Satellite is pre or post EQ.. Thanks _________________ I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.

If you have a second amp, it's easy to check: run into the Boogie, out of the effects loop and return to the other amp. Twist a tone knob. If the sound changes, it's post-EQ. If it stays the same, it's pre-EQ. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Thanks Lane; will give that a try but does anybody know for sure. There's no owners manual for this model or the S.O.B. _________________ I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.

Mesa's habit has been to have the loop after the tone stack.
I can't recall whether it's before or after the graphic eq, but I think it's before it.
Search for a website called schematic heaven and they have about 20 old boogie schematics and you can see their 'standard' program within amps like the mk 1, 2, sob, etc. That should get you as close to knowing as you need...boogie has never done a lot of drastic changes to their standard topology, particularly the mark series. |
