Do any of you take steps to humidify the room (during the cold, dry winter months) where your PSG is set up? Should that even be a concern for me? _________________ Mullen RP D10, NV400, Goodrich VP, Budda Samsara delay, Martin D18 GE, Dobro resonator guitar, Gibson Mastertone banjo, Eastman 815V mando, and a collapsable Sams Club hand cart to tote it all!! |

In the summer I always run a dehumidifyer to lower the humidity
and in the winter a humidifyer to replace what the furnace removes. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

I lived in KC for 23 years and never compensated my equipment for the humidity or lack of.
Same way since I retired and moved to Florida. |

A well-regarded luthier/guitar tech once told me (in relation to air-condition, etc) that: "If you're comfortable, your guitar's comfortable..."
I wouldn't be surprised if the same applied to steels. _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles, Martins, and a Gibson Super 400!
