Good shape ZB bar. Drilled out (factory) and has ZB stamped on the nose. A very useable collector bar.
$45.00 with free postage within 48 States.

Do you know the year or era of the bar? Also, is it solid/polished or plated/polished?

Hi Patrick, I have no idea how old it is. I believe it is stainless steel. I don't see any wear patterns that you normally see on older chrome bars.
I'm sure it was made back in the years when ZB's were being built.

Jerry,
I'd love to have a matching bar to my guitar, but I'm not a fan of a stainless bar.
Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick, if you use stainless steel strings a stainless bar is a poor choice. If you use nickel wound strings nothing beats a hard stainless bar. This comes from my experience with the John Pearse Cryogenically hardened stainless bar as well as my experience with a top brand chrome bar. This is not to say the ZB bar is as hard Pearse because I am sure it is not. I think the ZB is more of a collector piece than a go to bar anyway. I have an Emmons bar that I value mostly because it has "Emmons" stamped on the tail of it. I have a BMI bar that Zane gave me in 1979 that I value because of where I got it. I don't know if this ZB bar is from Zane's era or after sold the ZB Company.

Great collectors bar for anyone with a ZB. Speaking about ZB, if anyone knows of a single neck ZB for sale I am in the market and searching so feel free to drop a note. Thanks
