Is it possible to buy good audio cables from my neighborhood Guitar Center? I'll be using the cable on a Fender Stringmaster.

Power cables? What are you going to power? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

That is not called a "power cable".
It is a standard Audio Cable or "guitar cord".
I don't know if they carry short cables, but if they do it should work without problems. |

What Jack said. The cheapest ones tend to sound muddy. Most good cables cost between 12 and 20, and the expensive ones aren't worth it. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I just bought four 1 foot and four 10 foot Live Wire Advantage series cables from Guitar Center.
They seem fine, but I haven't had them long. |
