Rob will be out here on the west coast with Trey doing concerts in December, he usually comes out at that time (the prior three years with Jim Hurst), I think it's a good way to combine some touring, a dobro workshop or two and visiting family and friends around the holidays since he is a transplanted Bay Area boy to Nashville.
But it's also Deadhead Central here - he needs to tell young Trey that it's "Got a wife in Chino," not "Gino."

Here are the dates from Rob's website for fellow west coasters. I'm bummed out that the one closest to me and easily doable, a house concert in Cloverdale, home of b0b and SGF World Headquarters, sold out almost immediately and the lady in charge has put me on a waiting list in the event of a cancellation.
I e-mailed Rob inquiring about the "12/10 TBA" date hoping it would also be somewhere nearby and he got back to me and wrote to scratch that one off the books as it isn't happening after all.
This kid Trey is the real deal and for anyone here who has never had the pleasure of seeing Rob play in person, if any of these shows work for you then you owe it to yourself to attend. Rob is an amazing player on top of being one of the nicer guys you'll ever meet in your life.
