My long time friend and steel guitar playing buddy Earl Dean Williamson has passed after a long time illness with cancer. Funeral will be Sunday Nov.9th at 2:00 PM at Kimble Funeral Home in Junction Texas. Rest in Peace my old buddy.

Don....Sorry to hear about Earl, my condolescences! I don't get up Central Tx much any more. Last time I saw Earl (and you) was at a Tommy Burney Jam several years ago at London Hall. Hope things are well with you.

Although expected.....This is sad news. I never met a person that had an unkind word to say about Earl Dean....One of the friendliest people you would ever meet. R.I.P. old friend.

So sorry to hear about Earl Dean. I'll miss our occasional phone chats. He was a good ole boy, and a pretty dang good steel player.
